    FAT-16=Win2000:Oracle=NTFS

    Hi, 22nd April 2001 17:37 hrs chennai

With this system configuration i am very succesfull.

I have installed Win2000 Server on FAT 16 and
    ORACLE 8.1.6 on NTFS.

I have been succesfully running it.

My preception is that your o/s to FAT 16 and oracle intsalltion on rest partition of NTFS will be succesfull.I have heard win2000 or NT on FAT 32 will be problematic.

There wont be problem with Professional or server of Win2000.

    Cheers

    Hi Padmam,

Much thanks for the suggestion; I formatted the remaining 30GB hard drive into three 10GB NTFS partitions. Will let everyone know how it goes
