    Hi guys...


    I have a problem with the tools to make the database backup.
    It apears that error box to me."General connect error: check availability of database and connection.(ORA-12203)
    I really think I'm making something wrong, maybe it's the wrong tool im using but im not really sure.
    If anyone could help me I'll be apreciate.

    You need to give more details--what exactly you've done, RMAN or not. Just as much information as possible.
