oracle 10g installation on oracle linux

2.checking for ip_local_port_range=1024 65000:found ip_local_port_range=32768 61000 Failed<<<<


these 2 errors coming and space issue is also coming.i gave 27 GB to the linux

/tmp 1.2 GB
/var 1.2 GB
swap 1.6 GB
/d01 8 GB
/d02 6 GB
/stage 2 GB what's the problem.....please give me reply any one...

throug the document i solved kernel problems....now i am getting 2 problems

i didnt understood wt exactly.....so i am giving here ...so

1.checking physical memory requirements......
Expected result:922MB
Actual result:748MB
problem:the system doesnot have sufficient physical memory to perform the install.....
i gave the ount points also...it is my personal system ..so i gave minimum requirements

Okay, in the link to the install guide, the prereq section, states what to set the port range to. What does it say for the port range in the doc?

port range in the document is ip_local_port_range=1024 65000.....but u observe in the error it asking 32768 61000.... i modified . but it shows same error ....next i gave same as old range .it is working..next day .now the port range is 1024 65000.

if u got any? wt's the problem ...

if i got these two errors i try to install, if it wil install or not but oracle installed successfully.

now my another problem is to creating database....i connected to sql>startup nomount

it giving warning .....libaio-2.3.2-stub.so .this is stub directory which can be used for linking only.pleasef make sure this library is not found in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

i found the libaio in stub directory and mentioned the path in bash profile.but still it is not connecting to the sql>startup nomount

Please tell the solution for this stecal and above errors also for wt the problem is. tq
