    NFS mount archive logs

    Hi Friends,

    OS Linux
    DB 10g

I have two linux servers 1 is PROD and 1 is STANDBY.
I want to NFS mount the archive logs filesystem(PROD) to the STANDBY server so that I can continuously apply the log files.

Can you give me docs on how to configure NFS?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi

You dont have to the archivelogs can be applied automagically using the the net service transport name.

    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B..._ps.htm#i68626

is there a special need for what you are trying to do ?

    regards
