    lookup for a file in a specific directory

    hey people

    does enybody know if there is a simple way (with pl/sql for oracle 9i) to look up for a given file(s) in a given specific directory (let say for a given numerate xml files , located inside that directory).

    which utl_file proc?

    i check utl_file proc. , but none seems to be suitable for this task.
    can you be more specific regarding this term?
