Hi,
We have installed Oracle Server on a 64-bit HP-UX 11.0
operating system. The question is how to find out what
version of Oracle Server is running -- whether 32 bit/ 64bit.
Thanks for your help.

If you look on the CD cover that you installed from, it will say if it is 64 bit. If not, you got the 32 bit.
Usually, the 32bit version is a better if you don't need 64bit features (> 4G SGA, etc.) The 32bit version will be patched much more quickly...

hi when you run server manager or sqlplus in Oracle 64 bits you will see
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.6.0.0, 64 bit - Production
if it were 32 bit then you wont see the 64 bit message

Or go to $ORACLE_HOME/bin and type: file oracle
