    need help from expert

    Hi,
I am new to the IAS. I just got the 9iAS, I am going to install one server to test run. Anybody can help me the things to consider before installing the IAS - I read the readme and installation guide but I found the steps shown is little bit out from my actual installation even I tried 3 options to install (HTTP Only, Standard or Enterprise). There is one part in Installtion guide the System will show 'The System Need to Reboot" - system will automatically reboot. But the system seems not perform that job. I have to go to menu and choose startup -> Oracle 9iAs CD and run otherwise I have to wait forever.

Can anyone help me on this?

I believe this is a known bug.
If the machine does not reboot, simply reboot the machine and the installer
should kick up. You can check the startup folder and you should see
    the IAS installer.

    Note:
Is your installer run from a remote/mapped drive?
The installer may not been seen after the reboot since it needs to access the drive..

    Hi,
I think so this could be something wrong with the installer, I have to manually restart the server to take effect.

    Thanks.
