I am not a DBA at all, but I know a lot about Oracle DB. Just my job is related to studying all the features of the database.)
Just the forum is great, there are lots of questions and answers by qualified people and that attracts more and more members.

Yeah...you are right dear. I think its not ethical to make compitition
here...it will intimidate the brilliant dba's i guess...just like me 
I dont mean to attract people with price...but its more of a token...
It's realy good to have some "play" here ...coz work and no play will
make a person dull and bored. I'm thinking of something to make
the room lively 
How about...each of the tough DBA's will contribute 1 questions each
...a very tough question that will require a whole chapter to read to
be able to answer it. And it will be collected in the databank. Then let all the newbies answer them. Newbies who want to participate will register and pay $2 and will be collected as the prize. I will be
the TREASURER. The top scorer will take home the "pot".
