Hello my fellow DBA's
I am a junior DBA and I found these errors in my alert log and investigated them in the trace file that was created. The senior DBA seems to think it is not that important but I think it may be but not wanting to sound or look like and idiot I figured I would try here first before I pressed the issue. These errors are happening about once a week. It seems to me that a background process is dying. We are not running MTS or parallel server or anything.
Oracle 8.0.5.0.0
Windows NT 4.0
Lots of memory dumps, happening about once a week.
Errors are happening when we are updating snapshots on a remote datamart from central server.

Any ideas would be great, I check Metalink and couldn't find anything that pertained to my exact errors
