Thread: what is default dba username/password in oracle 8i ?

    hi,

    Could anybody help me to know what is the default dba username/password. so, that I can able to give the required privileges to my user. I am new to oracel. please...

    the default user are system/manager and sys/change_on_install

    The user system has SYSOPER priviledges
    where as the user sys has DBA / SYSDBA priviledges by default.
