    Question

    Hi,

    I know this isn't technically a DBA question, but I'm putting together a deployment plan and I need to know whether or not it is possible or even advisable to install the Oracle 7.3.4 Client and Oracle 8i client on the same Middle Tier Server. The Server runs two apps - my app which uses the 8i client and an older app which runs the 7.3.4 client.

    Sure, just put them in seperate ORACLE_HOMEs.
