    Position: Oracle DBA

    Location: Helena Montana

    Salary Range:Up to 84K

    *Relocation Assistance is provided but:
    The qualified applicant must want to live in Helena, MT.
    Quality of life is superb and company is a long established part of Montana's growing business population.

    * Responsibilities:
    Install and upgrade Oracle RDBMS and support tools.
    Document all database problems and monitor database performance statistics, tuning and database maintenance and recovery.
    Provide database problem diagnosis and resolution in all company IT environments.
    Ensure that all databases meet architecture standards and specifications.
    Support software engineers to ensure development methodology and associated deliverables are maintained
    and followed for database projects.
    Responsible for database creation, performance testing, tuning and benchmarking.

    Education and Experience:
    -Requires bachelors degree
    -6 years directly related work experience that includes 3 years in Oracle and PL/SQL
    -certification in Oracle DBA 9i or 10g; prefer 10g.

    Unhappy Need in job of oracle dba

    hii this is Balu i am a certified oracle DBA having two years of experience as a DBA on production database.after that i joined in a college to persue higher studies that is MCA. now i am about to complete my MCA with in two months and i want to be a DBA it is my aim to become DBA. I need some suggestions. Plse suggest me how to approach to get a DBA job. Thank You in advance.
