FULL TABLESPACE export/import

Hello:

I am new to oracle, and I read some where that u can to do a tablespace export. Can some one give me the syntax of the full table space export and import of the same.

Also, before I do the import do I need to create the tablespaces and users?.

As far as I know, you can do export in three levels:
Table, User and Full database (not tablespace)

yare you using 8i? if not forget about tablespace export, you can only do it in Oracle 8i

In 8i, the option is called TRANSPORTABLE TABLESPACE.

If you are using earlier releases, then identifiy all objects in the tablespace, create a parameter file, then do the export.
