Thread: Hit List from an Oracle Database Perspective for Storage

    Attending an EMC storage presentation on Feb 5. Want to make sure all issues per Oracle are addressed. Am I missing any topics?

    -High Availability
    -Fast Read-Write Access Disks (some direct write, others a
    flavor of RAID)
    - Failover, Redundancy, Load Balancing Capabilities
    - Third Mirror Functionality: DSS queries, Backups&
    Recovery, Data Warehouse Load, Test Environment Load
    - Minimal sync time when mirror breaks
    - Any performance issues as they relate to the third mirror during sync, backups, etc

    You have covered most. Any how add this also:

    Disk Blown Test - What would happen when the file system gets filled 100%?
