Thread: Error while export...

    Hi,

    I have an error occuring while exporting a schema using exp.

    the error is:

    EXP-00024: Export views not installed, please notify your DBA


    What does this error mean? And what shgould I do (since I am the DBA)?!?!?

    Thanx!

    The DB from which I want to export is Oracle 8.1.6 under Win2000 and I am on a Linux system with Oracle 8.1.5

    Basically, you have to install the 8.1.5 export views on the server. (See [url]http://osi.oracle.com/wa/ask/owa/ask_tom_pkg.display?p_dispid=820826902083[/url] )

    Run catexp.sql and read the comments before running it and see any pitfalls. I don't think there will be any
