    Linux 1GB net problem

    Guys,
    I know that's off topic but still
    I am trying to get running a NIC Realtek 8169 on CentOS 4
    It seems to run OK, but the transfer rate cannot grow over 10MB/Sec

    Any ideas?

    10x guys,
    I did all that. Full duplex on ethtool says 1000 Mb, Full duplex, autho-negotiation on, Port TP but ...
    Transfer is still max 11MB/sec (which is exactly 100Mb), dowmloadaed latest driver from Realtek,
    OK, will try some of the linux forums, I hope....
