    Hello,

    Is there anyone there that have configured Oracle Parallel Server on Copaq please?
    We are trying to run Oracle 8.1.6 on compaq but stuck on ?Cluster Kit.

    Please Help.

    We are also implementing OPS in IBM RS6000.
    Can u elaborate more on the issues faced by u.

    One more thing u can contact Thomas Kyte in oracle.com and go to the link "asktom". He can give u a very good solutions.

    Hi SRIRAM

    Thanks for your reply. I don't really have practical experience on OPS as such but I've read a lot on it. On most of the documentation about OPS it is mentioned that the basic requirements for OPS are: Hardware Layer, Oracle Enterprise Edition and OPS.
    What I'm trying to find out are these: what is the hardware layer, How do I configure/install it, is it the same as cluster kit?
    Any more information on OPS will be highly appreciated since my boss is literally on my back.
