script to generate tables

Does anyone have a script or procedure to generate 'CREATE TABLE' commands
for a given object owner? Export will not do the trick because I would like
to be able to modify some of the column names prior to running this script
on another database. I'm just looking for the column names, constraints,
indexes, etc are not required for what I am attempting.

Why not export the table with rows=n, open the .dmp file and edit the column names here, before importing the ddl in another db?? Is this what you need??

Can use "TOAD" for this purpose.
