Hi,
We have 34 different databases and Oracle7.3.4.5 is running on all the databases and now every time we are running a patch files on all the databases every weekend.

We are planning of moving all the databases to one database and thinking of creating of 34 instances for each districts so that we can deploy the pach on only one database so that we can save. WE are planning of moving it into Oracle8i.

Please suggest me is there any best solution for the above scenario.

Do you mean, having one Oracle executable?

Unless otherwise it is OPS, the instance and Database have one to one correspondance.

You can have the instances to have the same oracle executable ($ORACLE_HOME), if its on the same machine.
