Thread: Change SYS password

    I have a system I know nothing about and have no documentation to speak of. I need to do imports and exports with this data and don't know the high level passwords. How can I change these so I can log on as sysdba?

    HELP PLEASE!

    have you tried using server manager.
    svrmgrl>connect internal
    connected
    svrmgrl>alter user sys identified by newpassword
