I created a database using the assistant, but now I am unable to delete or modify it using the assistant as it keeps prompting me for an internal password. I was not given the option to set this password during creation. I am using oracle 8.0.5.

    hi,
in case u are still bothered with the problm. and if oracle is not uer password, then lookup in the logs which are generated as part of uer db creation, there will be a file which holds the internal password what u have supplied, use that and remove uer db.
    cheers
