Hi everyone, I've looked high and low to find information on this but have come up with nothing. We are going to be monitoring the databases of our entire enterprise through OEM 2.1. The architecture will be as follows: OEM Consoles on Windows NT PC's, OMS and Repository on a Solaris E450, databases on several different Unix boxes, mostly E10000's. We are trying to come up with the best failover plan, should the E450 that hosts the OMS and Repository crash. Right now we are considering a standby machinewith an OMS and Repository configured like the production one. Periodically it will be updated with the latest Repository. Should the production box crash for some reason, we will start up this box and monitoring will continue from here.

Does this sound like a feasible plan, are there any other suggestions?

Thank you so much in advance!

Cluster the 450 if it's so critical
