    c-isam to oracle Data migration

    c-isam to oracle Data migration


    Is there any program like pl/sql,pro*c to extract the data from C-ISAM dat file to oracle tables.
    Any examples would be appreciated?

    C-ISAM files usually been produced and used by COBOL programs and data is probably stored in legacy data types like COMP, COMP-3 and ... so loading data into oracle tables need converting those legacy data types.
    you can use AM2DB a product that will handle it for you. Maybe it's expensive I don't know how much but It's been used in the organization I work.
