RMAN Backup
Hi,
In Oracle training material I read
"RMAN can't backup online redo logfiles".
But in other chapterof same material I read
"At the begining of BACKUP ...ARCHIVE..Command an automatic swith will happens and current online redo will archived and the backup happens".
If RMAN wont backup current online redo then what does the second statemsnt mean...?
Can some one clear me this doubt...?
Regards,
tmg

Ok.
But there it is mentioned at the beginning. Is it like first archived and then backuped up....?
