    Restore Oracle from mdb

    I have to restore from a mdb file an Oracle 10g database and I am trying to use Database Express but cannot fond out how I should do this.
    Please make suggestions.

    whats Database express and what exactly are you trying to do?

    A ?feature? that came with Oracle 10g and as I said I am trying to restore an existing database from a mdb file.

    I think that the tool I am attempting to use is also called APEX.

    Just to be sure... please tell us your "mdb" file is not a SQL Server datafile.

    If you mean by that a Microsoft mssql datafile, yes I am sure that it is a backup of an Oracle database and not a Microsoft mssql datafile.
    Please tell me what tool/software you would use to do this restore.
    BTW Surely your signature should read "Your lack of planning does NOT constitute an emergency to me"?

    It is a backup of my users Oracle database in Microsoft Access format.
    It was created by my user.

    So it wasn't SQL Server, it was MS-Access!!!

    Unfortunately you cannot restore an Oracle database from an MS-Access database.

    What's the current status of your Oracle database?
    - Does it exists?
    - Is it open?
    - Do you have Oracle backups?

    Could you please be more specific about what you mean with "restore"?
