    sp2-0750

    Hello,

I'm having a weird error message from this morning when I attempt to connect to sql*plus. it says : sp2-0750 you may need to set oracle_home to your software home directory. I can't find a way to fix that. Yesterday I worked allright on my database.

How do I fix that please?

humm... when you said "profile" it rang a bell aarroyob. Actually, we are two of us to use the pc. The software and database were intalled using/on the other user's session. He's not around and I can't remember his password, so I tried to connect to sql*plus using my session and that's were I got the error message. No profile was deleted. What do you mean Dave by asking me to set ORACLE_HOME? is it the set oracle_sid='instance_name' thing? Any tips?
