    deadlock dectected

    Hi Friends,

I found this error in our database alert logs:

deadlock detected, reached max # (20) of servers

    found dead shared server 'S009', pid = (27, 238)

how do I resolve this pls, do I need to encrease a deadlock parameter on
    the init.ora?

    Thanks a lot

    No, you don't.
Look at the trace file, most likely caused by poorly designed / poorly coded application.

Look for in your trace file. Usually appears in child table when updating parent table due to a non indexes fk.
