    Problem with cursor

Actually it is a resultset cursor which holds the data in a tabular form. Not a PL/SQL cursor.
We do not want to shut down the database for releasing the cursors. We want to release the cursors while the database is open.
Is there any query or any other wayout? Please help.

It is impossible to troubleshoot your case with the information you have posted. Please be more specific and post any relevant hard data you might have about it.
