Thread: export failed

    All,

    My full database export (exp system/passwd file=*.dmp full=y compress=y log=*.log) failed due to the following error message:
    exp-00008 Oracle error904 encountered
    ORA-00904: invalid column name
    Oracle version 8.0.6 on AIX.
    Please help me fix this problem. Thanks!

    Re-run the script "catexp.sql" in %ORACLE_HOME%/rdbms/admin directory

    Then try....it should work.Read comments once before running. I don't remmeber it has to be runn as connect internal.

    Thanks for your help. It works. The script "catexp.sql" has to be run as internal or sysdba.
