package for system event

hi all,

is there a package or a trigger that is a system-based and can be used for example like if I have to trace an alert_SID.log, listener.log, or sqlnet.log and not a transaction-based like the DBMS_ALERT package?

Can't advise about other package and about dbms_aler also, but if the problem is that dbms_alert is transactiona, u can maybe use authonomous transactios?
