    What should be the SGA size, when we have 50 GB of RAM in the server

    Hi,

    What should be the SGA size, when we have 50 GB of RAM in the server?

    What should be the size of dba cache size..?

    This is in Oracle 9.2.0.5.

    totally dependant on your application, not how much memory your server has

    There should be some maximum till which, I can use.. For example out of 50 GB. Till how much GB I can assign for SGA..?

    doesnt matter what the maximum is, you use what your application needs, no more no less

    you have to count the number of users as well
