Oracle 9i not Started after unix restore

hi,
i'm working on AIX 5.2.0.0 (ML 5), and oracle 9i.
i did full backup for the production system using "smit mksysb" and the oracle database is started but no transaction could be done on it, due to a third part application, the restore was successfully done on the backup server, but the oracle database didn't start.

on the live one, i did a cold backup for the database (oracle application + datafiles) and restore them on the backup one, i still have the same error if i did dbstart or sqlplus command.
the error:
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program sqlplus because of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for /usr/lib/libc.a[aio_64.o] because:

kindly, any one have an idea if we can solve this pbm?
do we have to repeat the backup with the database is shutdown?
thanks in advance.

maybe the file permissions and links are not in sync...
are u just testing backup/recovery ?
I suggest u use RMAN, its so simple to do

Or use db cloning..or standby db

hi again
the pbm is that we have changed on a third part application on the test server, usually we was taking a daily full system backup then restore on the snd server.
i can't make a standby database, co i have another database for the application, the oracle database play a role for only a part of application data.
might it work if we restore the lib directory?

thanks in advance
