    changing the computer name in clients

    i would like to change the computer name which is already installed with orcale databe client in 9i. if i change my computer name it will affect the connectivity between the server? or what is procedure to change the computer name of my client system

    IT would only matter if you use ip filtering in the listener using computer name and not ip address.
