    Init.ora changes to large_pool_size and java_pool_size

    Hi,

    I have reduced the size of
    Large_pool_size to 1 M from 16 M and
    Java_pool_size to 15 M from 32 M
    in init.ora file. After restarting by this pfile = init.ora file
    this changes are not getting reflected to SGA. I want to use this 30 M for some other purpose.
    I know size is in integer.

    What's problem ? I am sure the changes to init.ora file I am doig correctly. Is there any dependency ? I am using dedicated connections.

    Please anybody show me a way.
