    Unlocking a database object

    Hi Everyone,

Could anyone please tell me that is there any mechanism to unlock a database object that is permanently locked without killing the session in which it is locked.

no it cannot be unlocked like that without killing the session. Doing such thing would comprimise data consistency and as such os not allowed.
