I recently created a second database on a Windows NT system. I added the appropiate entries to the tnsnames.ora file.
When I try to connect locally with SQL*Plus, I get a "No Listener" error.
I added the proper entries in tnsnames.ora in a remote system, and was able to connect remotely without any problems.
The entries are identical on the remote and local systems, yet I am only able to connect from the remote system.
