db write log error
Hi all,
i have installed oracle on linux with 4gb ram and 2 cpu.
oracle 10.2.0.1
i start getting errors/ warnings in the dbw - logs:
WARNING:Oracle process running out of OS kernel I/O resources
all kernel parameter configured according to documentation.
the machine oracle is in testing so the only user in the database is me .....
any thought ?
where does this warning comes from ? what does it means ?
thanks

I did a quick search on metalink and found bug 4758594.
You may want to open a TAR to verify its the same issue.

I don't think I can post metalink documents on here, copyright infringement.
The bug hasn't been fixed anyway.
