how to programitacally apply archived logs

in a shellscript I am programmatically copying a database from 1 mountpoint to another which was backup by EMC Bcvs hot. I need to startup that hot database and apply a set of archived logs until i can open the database.

    any ideas?

    thanks

First of all you don't need to apply the archive logs on to the BCVed database programmatically. The BCV script automatically copies the archived logs on to the target server, and would recover the database as soon as the disks are sync.
