Hello,
We are having problems with our backup device and decided to outsource backup operation to another company. Initially we run a hot backup every night and generate about 7 Gb of data. The outsoucing company will connect and backup this data daily. Our company is billed depending on the size of data backud up at the end of the month.
In other to minimize the size of data and cost we decided to be running export to a binary file every night and a hot backup once a week. While running the export I receive a message "SESSION 52 EXEEDED SOFT SESSIONSPACE LIMIT OF 0X100000 BYTES".
1. What does this message mean?
2. Am I covered by the backup procedure?
Thanks

Run ulimit -a at the $ prompt.
If any soft or hard limit is set, run unlimit command .
