loading into partitioned tables with sqlldr

    Hi,

Just wanted to confirm some basic stuff:

If a new table is partitioned by month, 24 months into the future from today and the control file for the load has only the table name i.e

    into table t_name...

then the data will be loaded into the right partition
as we move ahead in time i.e there is no need to name each partition individually for the load is there ?

    TIA

Tx - it's remarkable how one loses track of the basics if not worked on for a while. Our db.s are moving to partitioned tables only now !!
