    cloning Oracle_Home in 10g

    Hi Friends,

    OS AIX 5L
    DB ORACLE 10g

I have noticed in the OEM maintenance module that there is an option
from ORACLE_HOME cloning. I just wonder which one is better than
using OS cpio commnad and direct it to another disk directory.

    Thanks

    Hi Friend,

I tried cloning the Oracle_home. Then I shutdown the db. Then I edit
.profile and change ORACLE_HOME. Then I startup the db. When i run
OEM what it sees is the old oracle_home. How do i use the cloned one
    correctly?
