    Creating Oracle Database Template

    Hi DBA Gurus,

    I have a production Oracle 8.1.6 database. I want to create a template for this database to be used in our test environment .i.e. a database with all the objects as in the production database minus the data.

    I know there is an option for this from Oracle version 9i. I would like to know whether there is such option or way to create template database for Oracle 8.1.6.

    You could export and import with ROWS=N. http://download-west.oracle.com/docs...ch01.htm#34706
