File System full

I am using oracle 8.1.6 on tru64. I wanted to reduce the tablespace size in order to get some file system space. can anyone give me the query to find out which tablespace size can be reduced? i dont want to blindly try to reduce the tablespace size which will give error and write in the alert log file.
