How to work on Windows?.

Hi,
All time I worked only in Unix platform.
First time going to work on Windows.
I am very fine with Database portion but I never installed oracle on Windows..People say it is very easay than Unix. But I am nervous. Any help.
How to and from where to start..I need some beginner notes..

but I don't want to create database using dbca. I prefer to do manually like We(I always) do in Unix platform...so that i can learn more..
so most of the clicks go away from your list.
need steps like How to start...like got to cmd line..telnet to server..etc.. think I am a layman don't know much about windows..

Also How the OFA is followed...
like in unix I use diff disks/mount points to create 3 control files.. How to do that in Windows.. All I heared about C:\> drive.

you create a database the same way you do on unix, just change the datafile paths
just RTFM on oradim first - you need to create a service

you need separate disks if you want to multiplex your control files over different disks, c: is just the boot disk in windows

Follow the documentation for installing oracle on windows.As davey said multiplexing the control file is similar in windows only thing u have to mention is the correct path for them.
Regarding the teaching of windows this is easiest OS and the most vulnerable.

If you have different disks on windows then u may have different partitions like c:,e:,f:,g:,h:,i:...................
these r your mountpoints as in unix

You should goto to Tahiti.oracle.com and download the Oracle Install guide for windows.
