    Another Endorsement for Bush

So, Bush agreed with Kerry in the debates that the number one threat to the world was nuclear proliferation, which leaves him in a rather tricky position when he receives an endorsement from the governemnt of Iran!

The head of Iran's security council said Tuesday that the re-election of President Bush was in Tehran's best interests, despite the administration's axis of evil label, accusations that Iran harbors al-Qaida terrorists and threats of sanctions over the country's nuclear *****ions.

Historically, Democrats have harmed Iran more than Republicans, said Hasan Rowhani, head of the Supreme National Security Council, Iran's top security decision-making body.

"We haven't seen anything good from Democrats," Rowhani told state-run television in remarks that, for the first time in recent decades, saw Iran openly supporting one U.S. presidential candidate over another.

Though Iran generally does not publicly wade into U.S. presidential politics, it has a history of preferring Republicans over Democrats, who tend to press human rights issues.

"We do not desire to see Democrats take over," Rowhani said when asked if Iran was supporting Democratic Sen. John Kerry against Bush.

    ...

"We should not forget that most sanctions and economic pressures were imposed on Iran during the time of Clinton," Rowhani said. "And we should not forget that during Bush's era -- despite his hard-line and baseless rhetoric against Iran -- he didn't take, in practical terms, any dangerous action against Iran."
Let's see them spin their way out of this. I've got $10 says this gets a good laugh on The Daily Show.

It's my favourite thing about the Bush administration. They generate irony like a three-testicled tomcat generates kittens.

This looks like logic that Bush would use, it is because I say it is.

Ah, well Cheney's been saying this for a long time ... "Vote for Kerry and you're all dead" is standard speech material of his. Did you not catch GWB saying that "... it's wrong to scare people going into the polls"? That was the last irony i noticed.

Anyway, in this case it's different -- here we have the political leaders of a country that both candidates say is one of the greatest threats to America & the World, saying "Bush for President -- he's less of a threat to our country".

Out of the horses mouth, my friend, no rhetoric there. I've got another $10 that says that if Kim Il Sung endorsed Kerry, you wouldn't dismiss it at all. You'd be squealing like an old tomcat giving birth to barbed-wire piglets.

Now now, don't make me pull a Democratic conspiracy theory on you, perhaps it is reverse psychology, did you ever think of that?

What do you think he is going to say, “please, please, not Bush, he has made my life very difficult, his plan is actually working.”
I remember when this place was cool.
