    Can oracle 8i installed on Solaris 8?

    The unix server now is Solaris 8 Sparc Platform Edition. I need to upgrade oracle 7.3 to oracle 8i. Does oracle 8i compatible with Solaris 8? Where can I find the compatible information between operating system and database?

    I am upgrading from 7.3 to 9.2. Should I using export/import or MIG?

    Anybody have any experience in this?
