Well what inspires me is the fact that there's a lot to
    -- share
    --exchange
    --discuss

These things are always so hard to find within your own organization(no matter how cool the staff is).
There is always issues, egos and god knows what not, here you can share and be selfless. I guess one of the good vices of not knowing and seeing each others.

I guess I'd despise most of you guys if i saw you.....lol

But seriously like today i managed have my wireless care work at home on my wireless network(WI-FI) on fedore core 2 with WPA-PSK TKIP encryption(with an excellent wrapper NDISWRAPPER and WPA SUPPLICANT--for wpa). After you've fixed it , you're more than happy to share it with others.

    Cheers...

I am a liar when i was in search of a job and went to companies pretending as a DBA (when i didnt even own a computer), where do u think i got the answer to the question like tell me some problems you have faced on the job.

I come here for my own selfish reasons..thats how i became a DBA :-D
and many youngesters who want to be a DBA and who do not have a computer at home or cannot afford one thats this is the way to become a DBA.

That's funny, they way that I became a DBA was very similar to that. I was hired by someone to be a DBA. That person had no idea what a DBA is or what they do. I was their only computer person, so I had no one to hide behind. I didn't have DBASupport.com, all I had was metalink and the ability to create Tar's.
