Can anyone clarify this for me?

What is the difference between an Oracle Financials DBA and an Oracle DBA? Also, what tools can Oracle developers develop in? I am trying to put together some info for my boss. Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Oracle Financial DBA deals with more of Oracle Applications rather then Database related work. The "Oracle Application" apps is a suite of business apps that Oracle packages..

Ask your boss to take a hike, if s/he can't tell the difference.

There's something called OFA (Oracle financial Analyzer) as well. Admins of this delightful ( ) product are sometimes referred to Financials DBA as well.
