    Cool Dellocated

    When u fire shutdown command on your database .

    I dellocate memory & Terminate BgProcess . u can see practicaly if ur using Unix system.

    It is natural for Oracle when you shutdown, the BG process terminated and memory (SGA) deallocated. It's true for all OS. Not to particularly UNIX.

    Is it a confusion ???
