i need to create a test instance to restore backups.
can some one help me with the steps

What Marist89 was saying is that he doesn't have a fortune-teller's crystal ball, which means that he can't read your mind. Not the best response.
Something like setting up another instance and doing a migration has been extensively discussed in previous posts. Use the Search function with a keyword like "migration" or "test" to find those threads.
